A friendly local space to catch your breath, share what’s on your mind, and feel a little lighter.
Calmer Collective introduces a relaxed, welcoming support group for adults in Raunds. No pressure, no judgement — just real conversations, a cuppa, and a chance to feel more connected.
Why a support group? Support for what?
Life can feel busy, noisy, and overwhelming, even in a close‑knit town like ours. This group is a gentle monthly space for anyone who wants to slow down, talk things through, or simply be around others who also want to be real.
You don’t need to be struggling with a diagnosed condition. You don’t need to have the “right words.” But if you feel like you are missing something in life - companionship, tools, company, a different perspective, you can show up as you are to the group, let everyone know what is going on, and hopefully find what you are looking for.
We’ll chat, share experiences, explore ways to cope with the every day situations in life (and perhaps some of those unexpected moments too), and support each other through the ups and downs. Think of it as a community circle — friendly, grounded, and human.
If it is attended by local people, how will we 'support' each other?
Conversation circles, where there are no 'specialists' and everyone is a peer, have been a feature of human societies for as far back as we can study. First Nations tribes around the world still practice this to make decisions, keep their villages and tribes connected, solve problems and learn new things.
That being said, Ellie who is arranging this circle, is a trainer, life coach and business leader, so does have tools, techniques, signposting and activities that we can do - but the aim is that we will be lead by who you are and what you bring to the group each week.
What would I get out of coming to this?
Support circles are not magic bullets or quick fixes for challenges or problems you might have. But over time, people who participate regularly in circles like this report:
Better self awareness
Problem solving and self confidence
Finding your voice and making small positive changes in relationships, work and life
Making friends, discovering new hobbies, renewed energy for life.
If you think this could be for you, your first session is free. We run the second Wednesday of every month and you can book your place via the events page Events here.
