The Calmer Collective is:
An events organiser
A way to build community and make friends
A way to discover how to grow and expand your mind and your life through trusted practitioners in all different kinds of modern and ancient practices.
Events:
First and foremost we host accessible events like a monthly support circle, breathwork, sound baths, yoga classes, talks, workshops and other kinds of experiences.
Accessible means cost effective, at venues that are easy to get to, with people and methods that we've tried and tested and have found to be accessible and credible.
We know the world of self help, self care, personal development, mental health, personal growth, spiritual growth, spiritual connection... whatever you want to call living a better life and understanding yourself and others around you better... is a complicated place and it can be tough to know what (if anything) to choose.
But if you find yourself being curious, perhaps a friend has mentioned something, or you just wonder if you are missing out on something... why not try out the support circle, or get in touch to speak to one of us about it.
A way to build community and make friends:
Because we'll be holding regular group events plus introducing different ways of exploring this crazy beautiful thing called life, you might find yourself seeing the same or similar people on a few different events.
We'd love these spaces to become places to make friends, find connection and for the isolation that much of modern life creates to be replaced with community over time.
As we grow, we may organise litter picks, or get behind other events and topics that matter to our local community; Raunds has such a long tradition of activism, from our Blue Plaque individuals, some of whom formed the first social welfare and education organisations, to famous journalists and animal welfare organisations, we want to celebrate and lend our voices and efforts.
A way to learn how to grow and expand:
Modern life is such a push, a rush and a pressure. So when we say "grow and expand" we don't mean "do more, be more, earn more or achieve more" in most of the ways that we are told to.
What we mean is 'grow to feel more human, expand connection, joy and peace in your daily life, and be more present to the magic and wonder that is all around us.
If any of these sound of interest, check out our Events page for upcoming events, or contact us to request more information, make a suggestion or put on an event with us!
